UPDATED INDEPENDENT PRACTICE GUIDELINES
The CRPNA council approved the revised updated version of the Independent Practice Guidelines at the December 2017 council meeting. If you are thinking about being self employed or in independent practice providing psychiatric nursing services to Albertans read the revised Independent Practice Guidelines under "Guidelines" .

REGISTERED PSYCHIATRIC NURSES FOUNDATION INC.
Registered Psychiatric Nurses Foundation Inc. (RPNF) offers 3 scholarships:
John Alex Crawford Scholarship – This Scholarship is for any RPN in Canada who wishes to pursue Master’s or Doctoral studies that are directly related to any of the four domains of Psychiatric Nursing Practice.
Annette Thorimbert Osted Scholarship – This Scholarship is for a Psychiatric Nurse student enrolled in the 3rd or 4th year of the Baccalaureate Psychiatric Nursing Program at a Canadian University.
The McCormick / Henry Scholarship – This Scholarship is for any RPN in Canada who is taking further studies in seniors mental health at the graduate level (MA or PhD) or through an accredited certificate program.
